Physinexus grew from a simple observation: the most important part of physiotherapy happens at home — and that's exactly where good tools were missing.
Exercise sheets on paper end up in a drawer. Separate apps feel like homework. And the physiotherapist only finds out at the next appointment whether any exercising happened at home — if it comes up at all.
That's why we build Physinexus together with physiotherapists from daily practice. Every feature starts with a question from a real treatment room, and in the app the physiotherapist always stays in control: of the programme, the contact and the data.
Physinexus is developed in the Netherlands by Gallé & de Ruijter, with one principle that is never up for debate: health data should be safe, within the EU, and belong to no one but the practice and the patient.
The team
Physinexus is built by two founders who keep each other's worlds sharp every day: one knows what a practice needs, the other how to build it reliably.
Co-founder · Physiotherapist
Laurens is a physiotherapist and the clinical half of Physinexus. Everything in the app passed his treatment table first: which exercises work, what patients need at home and what a physio is really waiting for. He makes sure Physinexus follows the practice — not the other way around.
Co-founder · Engineer (TU Delft)
Baptiste is an engineer, trained at TU Delft, and builds the technology behind Physinexus: from the app to the secure infrastructure practices rely on. His measure is simple — it should work so naturally that no one has to think about the technology.
